he Institute of Network Society (INS) at the School of Intermedia Art, China Academy of Art, was established in late 2015. It is the first research institute within a university on the Chinese mainland dedicated to the study of network society, culture and architectural media, technological communication, and the philosophy of technology.

This electronic newsletter is created for readers who wish to follow, over the long term, the activities of the Institute—its events, courses, international conferences, and academic publications. Once you subscribe, you no longer need to worry about forgetting to check the latest articles on our website, nor about the trouble of searching for INS updates among an excess of WeChat public accounts. All important information will be sent directly to your email inbox, where you can keep it, share it instantly, and join ongoing discussions. The newsletter is entirely free of charge, but please remember to check your spam folder in case our messages are filtered there.

Towards the end of September, we plan to launch a paid subscription option for readers who need timely access to course and lecture content. Paid subscribers will receive an airdrop of INS Social Tokens, enabling them to participate more deeply in the Institute of Network Society’s experimental work at the critical forefront.
